Finally I got it Generac 5943 GP7500E, 9,375 Watt Generator with Electric Start.Missing a part and leaks fuelBy D. MorrissetteI purchased this on Dec 14, 2008.I received it on Dec 19.Shipping was good.I assembled the unit on Dec 20.Assembly went fine and is straight forward for anyone with a mild mechanical sense.The Unit is suppose to have a dip stick to check the oil, but it is missing.Also, when I put fuel in the unit and turn on the gas valve, the valve leaks - not alot but enough to be a fire hazzard - leaks onto the engine housing.I called the number in the instructions for assemble and I was sent to voice mail and was asked to leave my number and a tech would call me.So I left a message with a brief discription of my problem and my phone number. I am yet to hear from any one.Also - A genral complain about Amazon.com !I had placed the order for the generator, and a short time after I was informed of the possibility of missing parts and not being able to get customer service from Generac.
