The price included the shipping and the shipping via freight was straight-forward.Cons: Instructions say that the unit arrives with no engine oil; however when I added less than 1/2 of a quart of oil it overflowed from the engine. Engine occasionally backfires after it is shut down. I have not used this unit too much yet, but did try to bring it up to max continuous load with 3 hair dryers advertised at 1200 W, 1500 W, & 1600 W.
