The test phase following installation went without incident and the unit fired up on the scheduled date. We hired a contractor to perform the installation for $2700.00 and I watched every step. I would recommend going the contractor route unless you are a professional electrican. I have repaired home electrical appliances, wired new buildings, etc, but I do not consider myself qualified to install this unit. The only problem was: The shipping container was too flimzy to contain such a heavy item and most of it had been mutilated by the time it was delivered.
